Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 16, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information PDF2Word collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. PDF2Word is operated by ShuttleLab. By using the service you agree to the practices described here.

Files you convert

The PDF files you upload are transferred over encrypted links to temporary storage, converted, and then deleted automatically after your conversion finishes. We do not read the contents of your documents, retain them beyond the short processing window, or use them to train any model.

Account information

If you create an account we store your email address and, for password sign-in, a securely hashed password. If you sign in with Google we store your Google account identifier. We use this only to authenticate you and to apply your plan and quotas.

Payment information

Subscriptions are handled by our payment processor, Creem. We never see or store your full card details; Creem processes your payment and we only keep a customer reference and your subscription status so we can grant the plan you paid for.

Usage and logs

We keep limited operational logs (such as conversion counts, IP address for rate limiting, and sign-in attempts) to run the service securely and prevent abuse. These are retained only as long as necessary.

Data sharing and subprocessors

We do not sell your personal data. We share the minimum information needed with the service providers ("subprocessors") that run the product: Cloudflare (hosting, storage and the network that carries the app and your files in transit), Creem (subscription billing), and Google (only if you choose Google sign-in). We may also disclose information where required by law.

Your choices

You can stop using the service at any time and request deletion of your account. For any privacy request, contact us at support@shuttlelab.org.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves. When we make material changes we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
